900,467. Roller conveyer units. WHITWORTH GLOSTER AIRCRAFT Ltd. June 21, 1960, No. 34255/60. Divided out of 900,466. Class 78 (1). A roller conveyer unit 5 is made of a baseplate 14 formed by pressing or extruding so as to have sides 15 which support self-lubricating plastic rollers 16, and so to have apertures 25 for lightness. As applied to an aircraft (Fig. 2), the aircraft body 2 has a plurality of such roller units 5 secured to the floor and is provided with doors 3, 4 and end retractable stops 12. Goods are fed into the aircraft on pallets, the sides of which engage with and are guided by rails 11.
