Abstract

1433204 Conveyer belts G BECHTLOFF 24 July 1972 [27 July 1972] 35229/73 Heading B8A [Also in Divisions B5 and B2] In a conveyer system in which the load is conveyed between two opposed belts at least one of the latter is provided with an elastically deformable layer, e.g. of foam material, the load engaging surface of which is formed with transversely extending wave-like ribs 7. The ribbed surface has a reinforcing skin which is of a denser form of the same material (e.g. polyurethane) as the foam. The skin is integrally formed on the foam, e.g. by spraying.
