Abstract

900,364. Threshold bar weather excluders. WALTERS, W. April 27, 1961 [April 28, 1960], No. 14870/60. Class 20 (3). A threshold bar weather &c. excluder of the section shown in Fig. 2 is provided at each end with a securing-plate 17 slidably secured on a solid level platform 16 formed in the end portion of the bar, by a bolt 20 located in a slot 18 of the plate and screwed into the platform, the plate 17 having spikes 19, Fig. 1, at its outward end for entering a door jamb. Each plate has a recess in its upper surface closed at its outer end and having a run-out at its inner end for rain falling thereon to drain into the channel 12 and run out through holes 15.
