Class 75(1) In an oil fuel supply system for a return flow type burner the ratio between the pressure in the supply pipe and the pressure in the return flow pipe, or between one of these pressures and the other modified by the addition or subtraction of a constant, is maintained constant by a pressure ratio responsive device and a control valve. The pressure ratio responsive device is actuated by signals from pressure sensors in the supply and return pipes and actuates the control valve which is in the return flow pipe.
