Class 52(5) [Also in Groups XXV and XXXVI] A bracket for supporting attachments from girders, for example in mines, comprises a rod having a hooked end a, a screw-threaded end c, and an intermediate portion b adapted to support an attachment such as a hook or hanger h. An angle plate d threaded on the end c of the rod is adjusted by means of the nut g until the clamp grips the girder between its hooked end a and one limb of the angle plate d.
