[Also in Group XXXIV] A telescopic guard 28, having frusto-conoidal ends 29, is supported by bearings on a shaft 19. The ends 29 are each secured to a component 21 of a bearing by rivets 30. The shaft 19 has a universal joint 26 at each end. Specification 880,116 is referred to.
