893,325. Rotary I.C. engines. DAIMLERBENZ A.G. Jan. 27, 1961 [Feb. 4, 1960], No. 3272/61. Class 110 (2). A rotary I.C. engine of the n and n+ 1 lobe type has two fuel injectors 17, 18 in each working chamber, each injector being connected to a separate displacement chamber of a fuel injection pump 21. The displacement chambers inject fuel alternately, so the pump need only rotate at half the usual speed. The displacement chambers may both be connected to one fuel injector. More than two displacement chambers may be provided to each working chamber.
