[Also in Groups XXXVIII and XXXIX] Magnetic contact members 2, 3 in a sealed envelope are closed when the magnetic axis of a permanent magnet 5 substantially coincides with the direction of the contact springs. The magnet 5 is rotatable about an axis 6 to open and close the contacts.
