Abstract

892,644. Vibratory apparatus. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. May 7, 1959 [May 20, 1958], No. 16185/58. Class 80 (4). Vibratory equipment for a conveyer or feeder comprises a support 1 which is resiliently mounted within a stationary frame and is vibrated by an electric motor 8 having an unbalanced rotor and arranged with its axis horizontal. The motor is mounted in a swivel mounting 11 for pivotal adjustment about a vertical axis, which mounting is carried by horizontal leaf-springs 17, 18 connected by vertical leaf-springs 19. The springs 19 are connected to the support 1 and the pivotal adjustment of the motor is used to vary the amplitude of the vibrations imparted to the support. Specification 823,857 is referred to.
