Abstract
888,102. Aircraft closure means. BLACKBURN AIRCRAFT Ltd. July 13, 1960 [Sept. 17, 1959], No. 31777/59. Class 4. [Also in Group XXV] An aircraft door which carries a structural load when closed is finally moved into the door frame which distorts when the door is opened, by an extended member 2 with an enlarged or ball end 3 passing through the flared mouth of the socket 4 and engaging therein so that the door 1 is drawn into the opening as it is restored to its original shape. The closing means are situated so as to act along the line of maximum distortion i.e. along the line X-X in Fig. 1.
