Abstract

885,596. Panels; mouldings. F. T. PRODUCTS Ltd. Sept. 27, 1960 [Nov.16, 1959], No. 38847/59. Class 20(4) [Also in Group XXV] A framing strip 21, Fig. 4, is secured to a panel 20 by a U-shaped spring fastener 10, Fig. 1, one limb 13 of which lies within an integral bored portion 22 of the strip 21 so that the wall of the bore 23 and the panel are resiliently gripped between the two limbs of the fastener; said limb 13 being bent inwardly towards the other limb 12 and then outwardly away from the limb 12 and the limb 12 being formed with at least one inwardly and rearwardly directed prong 14. The web 11 of the fastener is of greater width than the limb 13 and serves to close the end of the bore 23.
