A clip 9 for retaining a filter panel 13 on a casing 1 comprises a rod or resilient stiff wire adapted to be hinged to an inner edge of the casing near one of its corners and having a limb formed with a downwardly bent portion 10 forming an abutment adapted to engage the outer surface of the panel 13 and an extended part 11 adapted to be sprung beneath a lug 7 fixed to an adjacent inner edge of the casing 1. As shown, the filter panel 13 enclosed in a frame 14 and is releasably retained in the casing 1 by four clips 9 each of which is pivotally engaged with a hinge plate 4 attached to the casing. Spacers are provided between the casing and the filter frame.
