880,851. Cut-outs. MASCHINENFABRIK OERLIKON. Aug. 19, 1959 [Aug. 29, 1958], No. 28411/59. Class 38 (1). An electric cut-out comprises a fuse adapted to be ruptured by melting or electro-dynamic shearing connected in series with and arranged inside the space bounded by the turns of a coil which acts as a current limiter and as an arc blow-out coil. As shown, within a coil 1 are located fuse 2 and a spark chamber comprising walls 6, arc horns 3, and insulating arc-guide members 4, the coil being protected against arcing by insulation 5. Specification 866,183 is referred to.
