Abstract

874,524. Hooks. BIRMINGHAM GUILD Ltd. July 28, 1959 [Jan. 1, 1959], No. 6/59. Class 89(2). A coat hook comprises an attachment member 10 and a hook 11 biased to a retracted position about a horizontal pivot 22, the hook having a projecting portion 28 such that, when a coat is placed thereon, the hook is pulled outwardly. The hook is made of light metal and has lugs 23 which abut the member 10 to limit its outward movement. The member 10 is secured to a wall by a screw through a hole 31, a bulge 32 serving to hold it steady.
