[Also in Group XI] A gas cock comprises a rotatable tapered plug 118 with a hole 120 therethrough which can be brought into alignment with a passage 122 in the body of the cock. The hole 120 can be restricted by a cylindrical plug 136 which is axially adjustable in a counterbore 134 in the tapered plug 118. A spring 128 holds the tapered plug in place. Specification 690,904 is referred to.
