866,151. Agricultural implements. CORDEBAS, J. N., and FERRE, H. March 20, 1959 [March 22, 1958], No. 9682/59. Class 6(1). A coupling device for coupling a tractor means such as a tractor to one or more trailing cultivating tools 4a comprises a drawbar 1 connected to the traction means and provided with upright supports 5a adjustably clamped thereto. A bracket 10a is slidable in each support and a horizontal groove 16a in each bracket slidably receives a tie rod 17a for this atachment of the trailing tools 4a. Two tie rods are attached to each tool and the grooves allow the tools to move independently and tilt when moving over uneven ground. The tools may be mounted in a transverse line or in two lines in which case an auxiliary tool bar is attached to the bar 1 by means of a rod which extends rearwardly.
