A terminal arrangement for a metal-sheathed, mineral-insulated conductor 3, e.g. a sheathed wire heating element, comprises a flanged ferrule 6 secured to the conductor sheath 2 and extending beyond the end of the sheath to enclose the joint 11 between the conductor 3 and a flexible lead 5. The ferrule is located longitudinally of the sheath by a peripheral groove 10 and is fitted with a flexible insulating bush 13 which surrounds the joint 11 and, if desired, the end of a flexible sheath 14 surrounding the lead 5.
