Abstract

864,057. Moulding hollow building elements. FISCHER, J. Aug. 26, 1957 [May 7, 1957], No. 26827/57. Class 87(2). Hollow building elements of cement and wood wool are made by placing the material in a mould 33 having an inflatable core 11, closing a cover 4, and then inflating the core to press the material. The moulds are rotated intermittently about a shaft 32. After setting, the cover 4 and side walls 1 are opened and the moulded element removed on the bottom plate 3. The cores may be stored on a rack 35. The moulds are carried on a wheeled frame 31. A lay-out for the frames and trucks for the moulding material and for carrying away the moulded elements is described with reference to Fig. 5 (not shown).
