852,830. Shuttering for concrete. KWIKFORM Ltd. March 19, 1958 [April 13, 1957], No. 12126/57. Class 20(2) A soldier for wall shuttering comprises a channel section bar 10 (seen in section) joined to a parallel bracing tube 11 by tubes 15, the bar 10 and tube 11 having aligned holes 21 through which pass tie rods or removable plug rods (not shown) which bear on apertured channel section thrust plates 20 on the tube 11. The tubes 15 are closed at one end by V section plates 17 welded to the bar 10, and are necked at their other ends 16 and welded to the tube 15. In use, the sides 13 of the bar 10 are bolted to shuttering panels and the soldier is supported from the ground by a strut.
