In a road vehicle air spring the outer edge 1 of the bellows 2 is clamped between an annular zone 3 on a guide sleeve 4 and a zone 5 on a housing 6. The smallest diameter at the point 10 of the zone 3 is larger than the diameter at the point 11 plus the wall thickness of the bellows 2. The outer edge 1 has an outwardly directed protruberance 14 which prevents the sleeve 4 from shaking loose whilst the vehicle is in motion.
