852,211. Stillages and lifting cradles for carrying vehicles. MORTON'S (COVENTRY) Ltd. May 6, 1959 [May 7, 1958], No. 14580/58. Class 78 (4). A skeleton stillage for carrying a motor vehicle has side frames 1 and end frames 9 detachably secured together, and cross members 11 which support the wheels of the vehicle and hold it against lengthwise movement. The construction illustrated is formed of tubes and angle irons, and has sockets 12 for receiving the feet 6 of a similar stillage above in stack. An upper member 13 braces the stillage which may be formed with lifting lugs.
