848,473. Driving chains; door-operating appliances. PETERS & CO. Ltd., G. D. Nov. 27, 1957, No. 36958/57. Addition to 836,429. Classes 24 and 65(1). In actuating or interconnecting mechanism for doors as claimed in the parent Specification the drive connection between each chain and its respective member 1, constituted by a chain link 6 or pair of links each such link having a lateral extension to one side of the chain engaged with the member, includes a recess 4 adjacent the smooth curved surface portion of the member which receives a chain roller 2 associated with the link or pair of links. Preferably two recesses are provided, as shown, to receive adjacent chain rollers, and a pin 7 secured to the pair of links 6 passes through a hole 5 in the member.
