843,637. Folding hoods. JENSEN MOTORS Ltd. March 21, 1958 [March 23, 1957], No. 9609/57. Class 108(1). The forward hoop-stick 12 of a folding hood is provided with a member 16 having a rearwardly projecting limb 17 to engage under an extension 23 formed on the rail member 20 at the upper edge of the windscreen 21 thus preventing the hood from being blown open accidentally. The resilient element 19 is compressed at 24 and 25 to effect sealing. Specification 843,638 is referred to.
