Class 30 Co-operating ribs 8, 8<SP>1</SP> formed on the pivot mounting section of scissor blades,3, 4 cross each other as the scissors are closed and ensure contact of the cutting edges 9, 9<SP>1</SP>. The ribs are formed in the grinding operation producing the hollow ground blades and are preferably arcuate extending from the non-cutting edge of each blade.
