Abstract
839,226. Road vehicle spring suspension; rubber springs. HIRST, T. E. C. July 30, 1958 [March 20, 1958], No. 8949/58. Classes 108(2) and 108(3) A vehicle road wheel suspension unit comprises longitudinally fluted tubes 3, 4 which are secured respectively to the vehicle body and a wheel supporting radius arm (not shown), and are bonded to. a rubber spring unit 2. Further resilience is provided by a rubber block 14 in compression between a bracket 13 on the chassis and an arm 9 secured to tube 3.
