839,212. Spray burners. ENTREPRISE GENERALE DE CHAUFFAGE INDUSTRIEL PILLARD FRERES & CIE. S.A. June 27, 1957 [July 2, 1956; April 18, 1957], No. 20322/57. Class 75(1) A liquid fuel burner of the spray type comprises a primary nozzle 6, an annular element 5a co-axial with the nozzle and having tangential passages for producing a rotary motion of the primary fuel stream, a wall 11 downstream of the nozzle 6 having a cylindrical orifice 11a coaxial with and of greater diameter than the nozzle, an annular element 15 co-axial with the nozzle 6 and between this and the wall 11 having tangential passages for producing a rotary motion of the secondary fuel stream, and means for controlling the flow of each stream independently.
