Abstract
835,053. Silos. MIAG MUEHLENBAU UND INDUSTRIE G.m.b.H. May 7, 1957, No. 14472/57. Class 20(1) [Also in Group XXX] Bins 1, 2 are widened to form base parts 5, 4, the latter being formed with sloping floors 24 to discharge through apertures 50 on to endless belts 8, 9, 10, 11 which feed discharge conveyer 12. A stirrer 22 (Fig. 3) may be provided, the width of the base parts being chosen so that the sloping face of the material (as shown) does not touch the wall thereof, thus ensuring a free flow. Stirrer 22 is moved up and down either by element 21 which may be a piston-and-cylinder, an electromagnet or a vibrator, or by element 23 manually operated.
