Class 7(2) [Also in Group XXXI] A motor vehicle drive unit incorporates a change-speed gearing as described in Specification 832,081, an engine whose crankshaft 1 drives via gears 2, 3 and a clutch 4 the change-speed gearing onepiece input shaft 5, and a differential gearing powering articulated road wheel shafts 15 and whose driving gear 12 meshes the change-speed gearing output gear 9 mounted on the shaft 5 and clutchable to a gear 8 splined thereon for a direct drive.
