830,631. Metal mixers. VEITSCHER MAGNESITWERKE A.G. Jan. 23, 1958 [Jan. 26, 1957], No. 2342/58. Class 51 (2). The lining 2 of a metal mixer comprises a lower portion 4 which is flat or has 'a curvature less than that of a circle of diameter equal to the internal free height, side portions 6 inclined inwardly of the vertical and a curved roof section 8, the various parts combining to produce an inner wall giving a continuous smooth curve. Arcuate sections 5 and 7 joining the various parts together may be of the same curvature. Portions 4 and 6 also may have the same curvature. Fig. 2 illustrates a number of typical contours.
