[Also in Group XXXII] A piston diaphragm is made up of laminµ 6, 7, 8, spaced apart by washers 15. The spaces between the laminµ are filled with hydraulic liquid or rubber having a high bulk modulus of elasticity. More than three laminµ may be used. The invention may be applied to a hermetic displacer element for vehicle suspensions (see Group XXXII).
