912,031. Diaphragm pumps. BALLU, V. P. M. June 14, 1961 [June, 22, 1960], No. 21524/61. Addition to 892,294. Class 102(1). In a double-acting diaphragm pump as described in the parent Specification and comprising diaphragms 13a, 13b, Fig. 2, reciprocated by an eccentric 6 acting through a piston 10, a modified damping chamber 73 is provided which is filled with air under pressure and separated from the pump delivery outlets by a diaphragm 77. Pump outlets 28 communicate with diaphragm 77 through parts 80, Fig. 3. An air-inlet valve 76 is provided in chamber 73.
