Abstract

826,781. Spreading powdery and granular materials. COOPER, T. V. June 12, 1958 [March 16, 1957], No. 8724/57. Addition to 818,055. Class 6(1). The apparatus for spreading powdery and granular material as disclosed in Specification 818,055 is mounted on a wheeled chassis 12 provided with steerable wheels 17. As shown the chassis 12 is rigidly attached to the chassis 13 of a tractor 10, the front wheels of which have been removed. The steerable wheels 17 are controlled by a steering wheel 21. The agitators of the apparatus are driven from the wheel 101 of the tractor by chain and sprocket gearing 23. The seat 20 of the tractor is arranged to one side of the steering wheel 21 so that the apparatus can be driven in either direction.
