Abstract

825,697. Printed circuits; holders for thermionic valves. BLAUPUNKT-WERKE G.m.b.H. April 22, 1958 [April 26, 1957], No. 12653/58. Classes 37 and 38 (1). A printed circuit device comprises a printed conductor circuit 4 arranged on an insulating sheet 3 of low load bearing strength, mounted, as by cementing, on to a rigid support plate 2, which carries the circuit components. At least some of the components are arranged on the side of the plate remote from the printed conductors, and have terminal members which pass through apertures in the plate to connect to the conductors. The plate may be of metal and components such as a valve holder 7 may be mechanically connected to the plate by a lead-through member 5a which passes through an aperture in the plate, and which also serves to insulate the terminal leads 6 from the plate. The valve holder has forked springs 8 for receiving the terminal pins of the valve, and a number of small springs 9 which retain the holder in place on the plate 2. Terminal lugs 6 are bent round the collar 5a which insulates them from the panel and are connected to the conductors 4. Fig. 1 (not shown), shows a similar method of mounting a capacitor, and Fig. 3 (not shown), shows a resistor mounted on the same side of the support plate as the conductors.
