Class 20(3) The fixed outer frame members a of a reversible window pivoted for example along a horizontal axis are constructed from a channel member as shown in Fig. 3 the web supporting weather flanges d, e and b, c. Fig. 3 represents the lower part of the frame and for the upper part the flanges b, d are severed from the channel member along the lines i, j giving the section shown in Fig. 2. The sash frame is formed from a channel member k as in Fig. 2 and for the lower part of the flanges p, m are cut off giving the section shown in Fig. 3. The weather flanges c, e and n, o are stepped so that a line through the abutting surfaces of the frames meets the shorter axis of the rectangle formed by the channel members outside the rectangle.
