823,532. Spring seats. PULLMAN (PATENT) PRODUCTS Ltd. Oct. 19, 1956 [Oct. 20, 1955], No. 30039/55. Class 52(4) In a spring assembly for a seat the lower ends 2a of the springs in the front and rear rows are hooked into the base frame, and a transverse stiffening wire 7 is secured to the lower ends of the springs in the front row. A further wire 13 is preferably secured tangentially to the innermost parts of the top coils of the front row of springs' and has its ends connected to the sides of the top border frame 8, the sides at those points being bent upwardly to provide a raised front edge. Specification 515,821 is referred to.
