Abstract

Fertilizer compositions are produced by mixing together ammonium nitrate and potassium chloride in aqueous solution and p adding the resulting product to a phosphatic fertilizer material and/or a filler. The mixing takes place preferably between 85 DEG and 100 DEG C. and for a period of from 3 to 20 minutes. The product may be added to the other components as a solution or possible slurry or may be solidified first and then added.
