Apparatus for lining centrifugal casting moulds comprises means for supporting a mould with its axis in a substantially horizontal position and for rotating said mould about said axis, an elongated trough for delivering lining material to the interior of said mould, means for moving said trough axially into and out of said mould, means for filling said trough with a measured quantity of lining material while said trough is being moved into said mould, and means for rotating said trough automatically when it reaches a predetermined point in its inward movement to deliver the lining material into the interior of the mould. The subjectmatter of the Specification is identical with that of Specification 817,499, which is referred to. Specification 717,515 also is referred to.
