Abstract

815,610. Forcing liquids by gaseous pressure. SPARKLETS Ltd. Aug. 2, 1957 [May 10, 1956], No. 14562/56. Class 102(2). A dispenser for discharging an aerated cream or like material comprises a container 1 closed by a cap 2 in which is mounted a connection 17 for a gas charging capsule and a valve stem 5 through which material passes to a nozzle 10 and which carries a sealing ring 7 seated on the cap 2 by a spring 13 one end of which engages the cap 2 and the other a lever 12 removably connected to the stem 5. One end of the lever 12 engages under a flange 32 on a cap 31 screwed on to the connection 17 so that pressure on the other end unseats the ring 7. The stem 5 is formed with a notch 6 so that flow to the nozzle 10 is dependent on the extent of downward movement of the stem 5.
