812,321. Agricultural implements. LANDBOUWWERKTUIGEN-EN MACHINEFABRIEK H. VISSERS N. V. Aug. 6, 1957 [Sept. 4, 1956], No. 24711/57. Class 6(1). A machine for thinning rows of plants comprises rods 9 each rotatably mounted in a holder 8 pivoted about a transverse shaft 16. The rods 9 carry blades 11 mounted on vertical shafts attached to the rods 9. Each rod 9 is oscillated by means of an inclined disc 4 attached to the shaft 16. A ring 14 is rotatably journalled in a circumferential groove in the disc 4. The rod 9 is attached to a forked end 13 which is pivotally attached by studs 15 to the ring 14. Specification 788,389 is referred to.
