Abstract

811,960. Roll-holders. BRITISH-AUSTRALIAN PAPER CO. PROPRIETARY Ltd. April 9, 1957 [June 22, 1956], No. 11597/57. Class 18. A paper roll-holder is similar to that described in Specification 731,449, except that the movable member 10 engages through a sloping foot 12 with the inner end of a compression spring 7 located in longitudinal passage 6 thereby being maintained in projection from the roll spindle 5. The movable member 10 will thus automatically adjust its extent of projection from the roll spindle 5 to accord with the bore size of the roll.
