[Also in Division F2] The tension and pressure on the drum head of snare wires 8 are independently adjustable. The wires are attached to a lever 4 pivoted in U-brackets 2 and the tension is adjusted by a screw 9 with a nut 11 outside the drum. The pressure is provided by rollers 17 adjustable by a screw 24 against a spring 22 through toggle mechanism 12, 13.
