808,177. Endless-belt conveyers. B.T.R. INDUSTRIES Ltd., and DEAVES, S. G. Sept. 14, 1956 [Sept. 14, 1955], No. 26346/55. Class 78 (1). [Also in Group VIII] In an idler roller for a conveyer of the kind comprising an outer shell 1 and an inner hub 3 between which and a fixed shaft 2 ball-bearings 6 are interposed, the shell is supported from the hub by a ring 14 of rubber or like resilient material which is bonded to the hub flange 4 and the shell flange 11. Similar rings may be secured to flanges on the hub and shell along the length of the roller. A sleeve 22 of rubber or like material is placed over the roller.
