806,145. Broom handle fixings. ADDIS, R. July 2, 1956 [Aug. 19, 1955], No. 24021/55. Class 61. A broom stock 1 is formed of polythene and is moulded to provide an integral socket 3 having internal splines or serrations the socket being adapted to receive a handle and grip it firmly. The splines 4 may be arranged parallel to the axis of the collar as shown or spirally or otherwise. Tufts of brushing material may be moulded integrally with the stock.
