Abstract

804,327. Agricultural implements. SELLAR & SON, Ltd., G. May 10, 1957 [May 22, 1956], No. 15745/56. Class 6(1). A cultivator comprises a frame 10 and two transverse rows of spring-loaded tines 12, 13, each tine 13 of the rear row being loaded by two springs 19 anchored to the frame and to a link 18 connected to a lug 17 projecting upwardly from the tine and working in a guide 21. In the working position each rear tine bears against a stop 23 and on encountering an obstacle the tines may pivot against the pressure of springs 19. Movement of the rear tines is limited by a stop 24. Front tines 12 are each provided with an upwardly projecting lug to which is attached the forward ends of two springs, the rear ends thereof being anchored to the rear of the frame. The frame is arranged to be attached to the three point linkage of a tractor.
