Abstract

800,129. Terminal boards; binding posts. HOLLANDSE SIGNALLAPPARATEN N.V. Sept. 24, 1956 [Sept. 26, 1955], No. 29129/56. Class 38 (a). In a terminal strip, single or multiple terminal blocks 113, 116, 117, 118, 121 are held captive between insulating partitions 101 ... 109, recesses in at least two adjacent partitions forming an enclosure for a terminal block when the partitions are placed together, in which position they are retained by a single tie rod 110 which also secures mounting feet 111 to the strip. Apertures, through which access to the terminals is obtained, are also formed by further recesses in the partitions. In the case of the multiple terminal blocks, such as 118, spacing members or partitions such as 103 have apertures through which the blocks pass. Figs. 8 and 9 show a single terminal block for the strip which has a longitudinal aperture and transverse clamping screws 802 carrying a common clamping plate 805.
