Abstract

799,996. Rotary pumps. OVER OFFICINE VENETE RIUNITE SOC. r.l. July 11, 1956 [July 11, 1955], No. 21514/56. Class 110 (2). The resilient stator 2 of a single screw-type pump is surrounded by three part-cylindrical members such as 3 which are disposed within the housing 6 and are each provided with two studs 7 collectively coacting with cam means 10, 11 whereby the stator can be radially compressed. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), each member such as 3 is individually adjustable by means of radial screws extending through the housing. The exterior of the stator 2 may be formed with radial saw cuts or cavities to facilitate its deformation by the members 3.
