Abstract

799,345. Indicating working conditions; spray carburetters.SOC. INDUSTRIELLE DE BREVETS ET D'ETUDES, S.I.B.E. May 2, 1957 [May 7, 1956], No. 14068/57. Classes 7(2) and 7(3) Closure of the control switch 25, Fig. 2, of an ignition circuit A lights a dashboard &c. lamp 30 but passes insufficient current through a resistance 21 to operatively heat a bimetallic strip 16 to cut out a carburetter starting device until, on starting, lubricating oil pressure closes an earthing switch 28 extinguishing the lamp 30. The carburetter starting device comprises a duct 15, Fig. 3, opening downstream of the throttle valve 4 and supplied by a float chamber well 7 via a valve 12 closed after five to ten minutes operative heating of the strip 16.
