Abstract
790,334. Nuclear reactors. UNITED KING- DOM ATOMIC ENERGY AUTHORITY. Nov. 16, 1956 [Nov. 18, 1955], No. 33013/55. Class 39(4). In a canned reactor fuel element the can and fuel are separated by a film of niobium. The latter may be formed by electrodeposition, decomposition of a vaporous compound, evaporation, spraying of the metal or by a wrapping of foil. After assembly, pressure is applied to effect close contact between the parts.
