A multi-hinge connection for upper and lower denture sets comprises two pairs of arms, the arms of each pair being hinged together and urged apart by a spring device, each of said arms being connected to one side of each denture set by a rotatable member mounted within the corresponding denture set to permit universal movement between the arms and the denture sets. The arms 2 are mounted on a hinge pivot 1, so that the facing surfaces of the arms 2 form between them a chamber (not shown) surrounding the hinge pivot 1. A spring is coiled within the chamber with one end anchored to one arm and the other end to a part of the hinge pivot which is square in crosssection, so that the arms are urged apart in a vertical plane. The free end of each arm 2 is bent at right-angles to form a horizontal pin 4 having a head 5. The pins 4 project into shells 6 which have a constricted mouth 7 and are embedded in the side of the dentures A, B. In an alternative construction, one or each arm 2, Fig. 4, is formed in two parts hinged together about a pivot 20, 21 and the headed pins 4 are hinged to the free ends of the arms 2 by a vertical or inclined pivot 22, 23. An eyelet 34, Fig. 5, to which a disc (not shown) is hinged may be provided at the free end of one or both arms instead of a headed pin 4. The disc is disposed for rotation within a semi-cylindrical shell embedded in the denture. In other constructions (not shown) vertical headed pins 4, for rotation within a shell embedded in the denture, are secured to the arms 2 by a slidable dovetail joint or by a disc mounted for eccentric rotation upon the arm. One arm 2 of each pair may be pivoted on a pin 1<SP>1</SP> carried by a disc 31, Fig. 5, which is itself pivoted to the other arm 2 and forms with the other arm 2 the chamber containing the spring.
