Abstract
784,050. Cold and heat retaining containers. COCA-COLA-GES. July 2, 1956 [July 2, 1955], No. 20462/56. Class 64(2) A double-walled bag with handles 13, for carrying bottled drink or food (pieces of ice may be included), has rock wool insulation between the walls in the form of one, narrow U- shaped piece 7 resting within another wide U-shaped piece 8 and at right angles to it. An insulating layer may also be provided between the top portions 5, 10 of the bag wall, which portions are joined together along the edges of an opening 15 running longitudinally along the top of the bag and closed by a sliding clasp fastener (not shown). The bag is made with panels of leather or synthetic resin which may be separate pieces or form parts of a single piece of material. Seams may be sewn or welded with strip-covered wired cord forming a bead 12 between the panels. The insulation pieces 7, 8 maybe formed in sections and may be secured to the bag walls in places.
